She is very artistic with her scissors and clippers. Last week Dyeanne clipped and snipped a very detailed map of Beanie Island on the tummy of Gizmo the Guinea Pig Bear so that when he goes for a walk he doesn’t get lost anymore! Dyeanne is also a great listener and loves to hear all the town gossip. She always knows what’s going on in Beanie Town! Next week is the annual BK Ball. Dyeanne’s salon has been booked out for days. 	Stitchy the Bear Stitchy has just arrived on Beanie Island and has already become best friends with Patchy the Bear. They have a lot in common because they have been through the same sort of thing. Stitchy has had a very well worn life before arriving on Beanie Island. She’s been hugged and squeezed and squeezed and hugged. Been through the washing machine a few times and became a dog toy for a few months causing her to be repaired again and again. Some Beanie Kids may call her scruffy but Stitchy likes to call herself “Well Loved”! She loves being on Beanie Island. She feels much safer. 	Catalina the Spanish Dancer Catalina is truly an elegant dancer. Her dress is a thing of beauty as it flows around her. She is full of passion and energy as she tells stories through her dancing. Some Beanie Kids get so thrilled and excited while watching her dance that Catalina has to stop mid dance so that she can use her fan to cool off the audience. Catalina and Spaniard the Bear have become very good friends. He loves to help Catalina practice by clapping out the beat as she dances around him. They make such a dashing couple! 	Mad Hatter  A very strange fellow has been spotted on Beanie Island. He is a very colourful character with stripy pants, lovely bow tie, jacket plus, an enormous hat and he acts a little mad! Especially when you mention tea and cake! He is the Mad Hatter. He has been seen having a tea party down in Fantasy Glade with his good friend Alice. The table is laid out with wonderful cakes and crazy teapots but there seems to be two empty seats! Mad Hatter has delicious cakes wherever he goes. 	Gloria the Rockabilly Gloria is a real swinging bear. Every Saturday night she goes down to the Soda Shop “The Bean Scene” to dance to her favourite Rockabilly tunes on the Jukebox. She makes sure she has a handbag full of coins to keep the music going. After her first twenty dances Gloria has a break and sits down in one of the booths for a chocolate malted milkshake and a hotdog. Then it’s time to dance to all the B-sides. 	Charlotte the Doll There is something about Charlotte the Doll Bear. Ever since she arrived on Beanie Island all the other Beanie Kids have wanted to play with her. Trev the Train Driver Bear has wanted to push her around town in a pram. Cuddles the Fluffy Bear keeps wanting to cradle her and have tea parties with her, and Sting the Mosquito Bear keeps wanting to tuck her into bed and read stories to her! Perhaps it’s because she is the cutest doll on the island. Charlotte lives in Beanie Town in a beautiful wooden dolls house. She loves it when her new best friend Portia the Doll Bear comes to visit. 	Gemma the Giraffe Every weekend you will find Gemma the Giraffe playing her favourite sport “Neckball” with her fellow Giraffe friends Jane the Giraffe Bear and Jerome the Giraffe. When Gemma isn’t running around the “Neckball’ Court she loves to knit, especially neck scarves. It takes quite a bit of wool to knit a scarf for a giraffe but Gemma usually gets the wool from her friend Dolly the Lamb Bear at a reduced price.
